Right now I am on my OPT (F1 VISA). My H1B is approved and I want to go to India on 11th Dec and return back on 31st Dec. But my employer will be filing for H1B amendment because my job role has changed (under premium or normal is not decided yet).
Can I travel to India can do the stamping based on my previous H1B approval (for my old job role) while the amendment is still in progress or I need to wait for the amendment (same employer different job role) to be processed completely and then do the stamping? What can be done in this case? Please help
