My H1b Visa was issued in Oct2014. The date on the receipt states valid from 1st October,2014 to 18th August,2017. I left USA in November 2014 and have been outside US since. Recently I have had interviews and might get a offer from US.
QUESTIONS:
1) Will the new employer be able to file my H1b extension in Dec2017, even though dates on first H1b receipt have expired?
2) Can the lost period since I left in Nov 2014 to August 2017 reclaimed?
3)Since I left in Nov 2014, just after my H1b started and haven't returned to US since, my passport is not stamped with H1b. Does that have an impact on H1b renewal?
I have paystubs for the month of Oct&Nov 2014. I also have experience certificate from my employer.
