Travel while H1-B transfer is pending/approved
Hi,
I have a valid H1-B/I-94 till June-2019. I am planning to switch the company and my new employer is going to file H1-B transfer during Dec 5/2017 week in premium processing. I have an international travel plan from Dec 9 to 25/2017. During this time, H1-B transfer may still be in progress or get approved. I would not be leaving my old employer till I return back to US.
In above situation, will there be a problem during re-entry with my existing valid visa ? If there is no problem, what will happen to I-94 under a case that my new H1-B transfer is already approved with an I-94 end date of say, Feb-2019 ?
