  • Spouse applying for H4 visa in 2018 after tourist visa was rejected twice in 2017

    All,

My spouse applied for a tourist visa to US twice in 2017. At that time we were not married. Both times it was rejected with reasons 'insufficient ties to home country'. Now that we are married, I've asked my spouse to apply for her H4 visa with all the appropriate documents.

I've been on my H1B since 2012 and my company has applied for Green Card. I also was approved of my I 140 recently. I've asked my spouse to apply for her H4 visa and I wanted to get an insight on how the prior tourist visa denials would affect the H4 dependent visa case.

    Appreciate the help on this.
