Trying to avoid H4 Visa - Other Options?
We are British family of 3, my husband is Structural Engineer. He would either apply for L-1 or H-1B. I want to avoid getting H-4 Visa if he gets H-1B Visa as it restricts me to work. I have had 5 years working as an actor and filmmaker. I am open to take up studies or J-1 Visa. However I am not sure if it would match my husband's H-1B Visa.
Firstly when does H-4 Visa EAD is possible ? How many years wait ? Is it really as bad as everyone make it sound about H-4 ?
What are my options if I want to pursue Filmmaking / Acting and later stage start my own business on which visas ?
