Am I elegible for H1B

Hello,

Juts let me explain my profile

Bachlore of Engineering ( Mechanical 2003 passed out)

Exp : 2.7 years ( oct 2003-till date)

Platform : .NET

PGDCA ( Though not from a govt recognised institute . Just a diploma offered through Private institute .Is it a valid one)


thought of applying H1b last year itself but was backed off saying that i din't have enough exp . Now that i have good amount of exp ( by the time my papers come and i apply for interview it will be spetember i guess and by sept i'll have 3 years of exp but donno whether this amount of exp is sufficient)

i was frightened by people as that i dont have computers degree iam not elegible for H1B is it so ?
Is my Engg branch gng to coem between me and H1B.?

one more doubt now that i work in pune so for my visa counselling where should i go to MUMBAI or Chennai ( i hail from Hyderaba)

U need to go to Chennai for visa if Ur application is Approved

Is there any chance of my H1 getting rejected on basis of my branch ( other things they are secondary as they are not in out hands)

as u said i have to go to chennai but iam working in pune..so dont i have to go to Mumbai ( sorry i donno)
