I have attended my interview on Dec 8 at hyderabad consulate. I was given white slip 221g asking me to email documents. I emailed them on Dec 8 and on Dec 12 received email to submit my passport . I submitted my passport on Dec 13 and my case status date changed from Dec-8 to Dec14. I believe that's when passport reached my VO.
From then no updates and showing as AP. What does this mean? Does the VO approved my Visa and handed over to AP ? what do they do in the AP? How long will it take? I am feeling sad that my wife ( H-1Stamping done on same day) and 3 year old son had to leave with out me and it is with so much pain I am waiting. How long will they keep my passport before giving a decision.. Is there a way I can email the consulate itself replying back to the email they asked me to drop my passport and find out? Is it ok to email the consulate
Any help in my matter is highly appreciated and please guide me/provide your thoughts on my pathetic situation.
