H1B with Amendment process with tricky situations

Hi

I have H1B petition valid until Nov 2018 with my previous client .(I have I-140 approved). After that, I joined new project and my employer did H1B Amendment with Extension on last month - Dec 2017 - premium processing. and I got RFE for that . My concerned is :

1) If my H1B amendment with extesion will deny then I can stay till Nov 2018 ( with my previous Petition) ?
2.) if my current project will over soon and unable to reply on my RFE and if i get new project and put again H1B Amendment then which petition will consider on my case ?

I am very tricky situations . Please help me on this
