H1B Transfer to a new company if I travel back to India

Hi People,
I got my H1B last year and its not stamped yet.Also the current amendment is pending approval.
Am planning to return back to India due to family reasons.
If I go back to India and join a company there, will my H1B be transferred to the new company and would I be able to come back to US with a stamped visa in case there is an opportunity in US ?
