issues if any-Visitor visa Interview, immediately after the H1B visa stamp(renewal)

Hi

I will be renewing my H1B visa in Nov 2018 in India and going for 4 weeks of vacation. After I get my visa stamped,
my parents will be appearing for the visitor visa interview through my sponsorship(I will be in India itself, at that point of time).
Will there be any problem in getting visitor visa to my parents, when I have not traveled to USA on my newly stamped visa(I have I797 valid till 2020)?

Please advise.

While there are many impediments & obstacles in obtaining a B-2 visa, the fact that their son hasn't traveled on his renewed H-1B visa isn't one of them
