H4 visa stamped for my wife but I still need to go to for my H1B
Hello all,
I've checked mostly all subjects in forum regarding to my issue but couldn't find any close to that, so opening a new thread.
My wife and I've had a H1B/H4 appointment with the U.S. consulate in Istanbul, Turkey for October 16th 2017 but unfortunately at that time there was a visa suspension problem for non-immigrants between two countries. For this reason, my wife had to go to another U.S. Consulate in Georgia in order to get her H4 visa stamped. After she got her H4 visa approved, she arrived to the U.S.A. but I still need to have my H1B stamped If I want to visit my country. And looks like everything went back to normal, at least diplomatically. So, my question'd be, Do I still have to take my wife to the interview at the Consulate in Turkey? Even though she's got her visa in her passport. Or can she stay in the States while I will be going to the visa interview?
Please make your comments If you know anything about this situation, your help will be highly appreciated.
(By the way, I just called the call center to ask this question, but I was told that only applicants must be there which was not a clear answer for me at this moment.)
