Transfer H1B to another employer before stamping
Hi Everyone,
I have been reading this forum for a long time and all resources have been invaluable. I need some help regarding a situation I am in.
I am currently working for Company A in US since 2017 on a L1B Individual Visa which is due for extension this year. I had applied for a H1B under Consular Processing from Company B under the 2017 cap as I did not want a change of status filing since I was not sure if I wanted to work for Company B. It got approved.
Question 1 - Can I initiate a H1B transfer to Company A without having to get the visa stamped for Company B?
Question 2 - My L1B extension has been initiated by Company A, if that gets approved, does that cancel my H1B approval?
Any help is appreciated.
