L1B - H1B Clock Reset Question for extension

Hi

Here is my situation,

I was in L1B visa from Aug 2009 to Aug 2011
Went back to India
Applied H1B on May 2012
Got the approval (I797) starting from Dec 2012 (approval received over a year after exit from US which was Aug 2011)
Traveled to US on Nov 2013 (after over 2 years last exited on L1B)
Considering the entry date Nov 2013 and clock did reset, my six years limit ends on Nov 2019, is my understanding correct?
I am getting multiple opinions where,
1) The Clock is reset since H1B start date is from Dec 2012 (which is over 1 year after my exit date from US in L1B)
2) The Clock is not reset since H1B is applied before 1 year exit from US

Please let me know.

L1B and H1B Clock reset

I am also in the same situation.

Left US after L1B extension denied (June 2014)
Applied H1B with employer A in April 2015 with start date Oct 1, 2015.
Applied cap exempt with employer B in Feb 2016.
Entered US in July 2017. Did not travel to US between June 2014 and July 2017.

Did my clock reset?
