H1 Petition Approved but L1 Visa valid until 2020, need help with the situation
Hi Admin,
I have a L1 visa which is valid until 2019 and last year my company applied for H1 and got H1 Approved petition until 2020. I have few questions below.
1. Can I stay in US with valid L1 visa which is available until 2019?
2. Is the H1 approved petition still be available for me to use after 2019?
3. Is it mandatory to activate/use H1 petition immediately since its approved?
4. How long I can hold H1 petition without activating it or going to visa interview? Is there any cap in the time limit?
My plan is to use L1 until 2019 and then use Approved H1 petition by going to visa interview. Will this strategy work?
