Hello,
My employer is intending to refile my green card application from scratch. My PD was May2012 when my application was filed at a job title X and salary Y in EB2 category. I had got my I 140 approved after that and its been few years since I am waiting for PD to become current. Today my job title is X and my salary is Z. My employer believes that my I485 will be rejected now if they use my current Perm and I140. So they want to file a new application from scratch and the port my existing PD.I am not sure if they have the accurate information. Can anyone please shed some light on the scenarios that makes it necessary to file a new green card application from scratch?
