DS-160 form H1B consular processing
Currently not working and on H4 status, formerly J2, then received waiver. Wife is on H1B, formerly on J1, now working on j1 waiver job. Recently, I got a job offer and also got H1B petition approved but no I-94, requires consular processing in India. What are the chances that the H1B visa will be approved? I have some questions regarding the DS-160 form:
(1) Address Where You Will Stay in the U.S.
Should I provide my home address in the US or a hotel address in city of my new workplace?
(2) Are you a former exchange visitor (J) who has not yet fulfilled the two-year foreign residence requirement?
Yes / No
Since we already have a J1 waiver which is essentially applied in lieu of the home residency requirement, should I answer NO. Additionally, I was only on a J2 status which was a dependent on the J1.
(3) Primary Occupation?
Should I answer this question as ?Not employed ? because I am between jobs?
