VO was particular about 'x' client letter. my employer is ready to send 'y' client letter along with project details, will VOs arise any questions , if yes how should i react..Pl. advice me asap..need to attend next week

yes you are right ,
he will raise the question.
you should get the letter from petioner/employer saying that
your position are already replaced by them at client 'X' .
and you will be work for Client 'Y',also you needed for y,
......+ client Y letter , Project details....as u said
