Regarding the updates from USCIS

Hello All,
I have been getting the regular updates from moourtydotcom regarding the H1B numbers. When it says that 44,000 cases havebeen filed, does it mean these many receipts have been issued?

My case has been filed on May 12th. But I have not got my receipt number. Can I assume that I am getting counted in 44,000? How long will it take for me to get my receipt num?

In general how long does it take for H1B to get approved?

As for as i know....

there is count of tota no. of cases in the queue and among which how many are accepted and how many are still pending i.e means yet to give LIN number....
