Approved I140 But H1-B Expiring Soon

Hello,

I have an approved I140 from my previous employer. I switched to a new employer in 2015 based on Approved I140 and got H1-B extended for 3 years.

But I came back to India in July 2017 due to personal reasons. And my H1-B is expiring on 25th April 2018. My I140 is still active.

Please help with following questions.

1. Can I still file for H1B extension before 25th April with I140 from previous employer?
2. Can i file for an extension after 25th April 2018?
