H1 (Cap) Transfer before Oct 1st
Hi,
I have applied for H1B under 2019 Cap (currently on OPT) and got the confirmation that the petition has been picked in the lottery. While my petition is in the process I got a new full-time opportunity and want to take it. My question is how soon can I initiate the H1 transfer to the new employer?
Can I initiate the transfer once the H1 is approved or I have to wait until October when my status will be updated from F1 to H1? What are my options if I want to take the job offer?
