Duplicate MRV receipt

Hi all,

I am planning to schedule and visa interview in Aug-2018.
I am curious and confused regarding the MRV receipt. I paid the necessary fee through NEFT and waiting for an eMail with the activated MRV receipt#.
I generally logged into my account in ustraveldocs and noticed that it prompted me that i already have 2 receipts available and i choose yes. What i observed is that the receipt# it populated was exactly same as the one i got in Mar-2017.

Is it wrong to have the same receipt# or is it correct ? I am confused !!

Receipt number remains same. if you remove first 5 characters from your TIERnumber, that will give you your receipt number.
