H4 Visa with old employer

Hi,
My wife and son has there H4 visa with my old employer and their I-94 is valid till May-2019.
I have switched company and have H1 with my new employer.

They need to travel to India and come back after 2 months, do I need to file for new H4 before they leave?
I read that if I-94 is valid there is no further action required for H4 dependents.
