I applied for visa stamping for my H1B and my wife?s H4 on 1st May. We got our passport back with visa stamp today in a week, but my wife?s H4 has incorrect Principal Applicant Details.
I noticed that my wife H4 has correct Principal Applicant Name; however, it has company's name and petition number something else than I filled in DS-160. My H1B details are correct details. It appears that the consulate has put detail of some other primary applicant, who is my namesake, on my wife's H4.
Please advise what should I do in this situation? Can my wife travel to US on the given h4. We are in India right now and have return flight for this Wednesday (5/9/18).
If we have to file for H4 visa correction in India, what will be the correct procedure? I will reach out to US VAC center in the morning with the same question.
