Hi- I have been in the US only for 3 weeks now, and on bench waiting for projects, through a consultant. A company is willing to offer me a regular employment, and say that H1B transfer will not be a problem. But, some say that a minimum of 2 paystubs is a must for H1B transfer. Can someone please clarify?

You will need latest two pay stubs (or pay slips) along with other documents like H1 approval (your current employer), I94 copy, passport copy to be able to file for a H1 transfer.
Some companies pay bi-monthly and others pay monthly. If its bi-monthly, then it should be easy for you, to wait for one more week and file for your transfer. But all this is only possible if your current employer is paying you while you are on bench.
