I have a situation where in my Wifes H4 expired in Dec 2005 (have not applied for the extension along with my H1-B extension). We finally came to know that we had to apply for the H4 extension and did that in FEB 2006, we still have'nt got the visa and our lawyer suggested that she leave the country and go to one of the US consulates in India, She is in Bangalore now. I have a valid H1B visa and have got all the documents that are needed. Was anyone else in a similar situation and if so can they suggest what kind of questions they were asked at the consulate ? Thanks for the all the inputs.
