i-94 validity on h1b extension

Hello everyone,

My visa/i-94/i797 all expire on 25th June. My company is already in process of filing my extension and should be done within next 10 days.

My question is, will it be enough that we file the extension and get the fedex number or should also get the receipt number for me to stay post 25th June.

As long as the USCIS officially receives the application ("received date") before your I-94 expires, you can stay while it is pending, but you won't know what the "received date" is until you get the receipt. It should be within a day or two of when the mail is delivered.
