I quit company A (H1B/I-94 valid till Aug-2019) and started working for Company B on Feb-20, 2018 (on H1B transfer receipt). I received RFE for the transfer, for which I got approval in May-15, 2018. However the approval was given only till Jun-30, 2018 (I-94 valid till Jul-10, 2018). Company A revoked my original petition around Jun-15, 2018. Company B has now filed for an extension in regular category.
I received an offer from Company C and they are preparing for H1B transfer application, but they are saying that I will not get approval tiil my H1B extension application is approved, which is filed by Company B. They are asking me to convert the extension application to premium processing. Is this a regular case to have extension approved before filing for transfer case or is it because my current petition will expire in next few days and hence this is the recommeded path?
Are there any other considerations, which needs to be looked at in my case?
