Working on H1b receipt more than a year.Suggestion needed to apply H4 visa for family
Hello - Please help with your suggestion.
For more than a year, I am working on a receipt with my current employer. I moved from Employer A to B and got receipt date as 05/01/2017. Employer B filed transfer with Client A and worked for 1.5 months. Client A project completed. Employer B filed amendment for client B and it got approved till 12/31/2018. Got I-94# with I797 approval copy. But, transfer petition with client A got RFE and employer responded and it is still pending. Can I use Client B's amendment approval copy of I-797A to get H4 stamping for my family in India, though h1b transfer with client A not completed. What is the effect of H1b transfer for client A outcome on client B approved amendment. Which one takes precedence. Please share your suggestion/experience. Thank you.
