Does H1B 6 years duration include the time spent on L1B visa

Hi all,

I am currently working on H1B visa but was employed in the US on L1B with a different employer. My question is whether the time spent on L1B visa gets counted towards the 6 years max duration that one is allowed to stay in the US on a H1B? Or does the count get started from the time one actually starts working on H1B?

Time spent on L visa + H visa = 6 years
