Custody of US citizen children in event of death of both parents

If both parents on H1/H4 die, who gets the custody of minor children who are born US citizens. This is something most of us don't think about. Ideally I would like my kids to go back to India and be with their grandparents in case something like this happens. But what is the legal aspect of this? I am living in California.

You need to make a will and power of attorney.

Please talk to a lawyer regarding how want this to be handled.

Otherwise, it is going to be very unfortunate and what you want would not happen.
