Hi All,
I'm currently in US with family, and now on H1b extension, so our visa is expired and is more than an year from extension date.
My family (just dependents, not me) is planning to visit India in Dec 2018. So, for appearing visa interview in India, should the principle consultant/candidate to be available for stamping or dependents can get the visa based on the current extension?
One of my friends said, principle consultant also has to be available for dependents visa stamping.
I know this was not the case earlier, so is there any change in policy now? Are they allowed to go and get stamped without me?
Please advise.
Thanks in advance,
sm
