H1B & H4 221g form info help required
Hi Guys,
Background:
Interview date: 23rd July 2018
Location: Delhi
Purpose: H1B & H4 (my wife)
Holding B1 visa (issued on 25th oct'17), went to US on 4th Nov'17 to 23rd'17
I got asked below questions:
1. The agent asked me to show passports of my wife & mine.
2. Then asked for I-797.
3. Have you ever applied for H1B before?
4. Asked who is your petitioner and what does Nagarro do?
5. What do you do here? What will you do in US?
6. Will you be working for client or petitioner?
7. What will be your salary in US?
8. What is the date of your wedding? Can I see marriage registration certificate?
9. How many people came to the wedding?
10. Do you have kids?
11. Then he gave me 221g form and asked to mail us all the mentioned documents. I told him I?m carrying all the original documents right now but he said, I can?t take it here, please mail us at [email protected].
Documents need to send them are:
1. Complete 1-797, I-129 petition, Labor Condition Application and Cover Letter submitted to DHS with the petition application.
2. Letter from END CLIENT, itinerary of services, and contract.
3. Petitioner's federal tax returns for the last two (2) years.
4. List of petitioner's employees. Provide a noted list of all employees with each employee's name, specific job title, yearly salary, immigration status, and employment start and end dates. Beneficiary's educational documents.
Can somebody please share their experience like how much time generally it takes in such case to get a response from embassy?
They gave me one 221g form but it has case number as " YYYY YYYY ZZZ1/2"
Do I have to send my wife's document separately?
