Hello all,
1. The "Admit Until Date" on my I-94 is 10/08/2018, because the passport on which I have my H1 stamped is expiring on that day. Accordingly I applied for a new passport and did receive it as well. However I still need to visit the CBP office and notify them about the same, waiting to get an appointment for the same.
2. Simultaneously, I am in the process of initiating my H1 transfer from one employer to another. Will the transfer get affected since my H1 status date is almost within a two months of expiring? Also do I need to get my new passport stamped again when I visit my home country, the next time?
Please let me know your thoughts on this. Any kind of help is highly appreciated. And do let me know if any information is not clear or missing.
