Greetings Everyone,
I recently moved to new Employer on H1B and my transfer petition is still pending with USCICS. My current Work Authorization/Visa expires by 10-Mar-2019.(Post that I will have 15 more months before reaching 6 years)
Question:
1. During current transfer, will my work authorization also gets extended beyond 10-Mar-2019 or it will be only employer change and I need to file new petition for extension again ?
2. Now as we know, Premium processing will be stopped from 11-Sep-2018 to 28-Feb-2019. Considering my situation, will it be wise to go for Premium processing now itself before Sep 11 or I should wait till March ?
Only reason I am hesitating to go for premium - Just in case if my transfer is rejected now, I will lose 6 months time here which I will get if I wait till March and even if gets rejected at that time.
Can you please help me clear my doubts.
