H1b restamping before the current visa stamping expires

My current H1b visa stamping will expire in another 1 month which is from my previous employer A which i left almost 1 year ago.
I already have approved I797 from my present employer from last 1 year when I switched.

I am planning to travel to my home country and go for visa re stamping as well based on the i797 I have from my present employer.

Is it fine to do it now or wait for restamping until the present stamping expires.
