Is transit visa considered as Country visited if we go out of the airport in the long layover flights? I am planning a trip to India via Dubai and this time, I got a long layover flight in Dubai for about 22 hrs - So I am planning to go for a city tour instead of waiting in the airport for a long time. So, do I need to mention that country trip in DS-160?
My question is, if I submit my DS-160 a week before my travel date from the US and I would not have any transit visa stampings except my H1B stamping in my passport by that time, then in that case what should I answer for the Question - Have you traveled to any countries/regions within the last 5 years?
let's say an example date - my travel to India lets say - 26 Oct 2018
If I go out of the airport - I will get a Dubai trasit visa stamp in my passport on 27 Oct 2018.
tentative DS-160 Submission: A week before my journey date lets say 20 Oct 2018.
Planning to Dropbox my docs on 29 Oct 2018
Your valuable suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
