Edit family members during visa inerview

Hi,

I have a family emergency and will have to travel to india. Becasue of time contraints i am not sure if family will be able to travel.
Question is if i pay the interview fees for individual and later if my family joins, can i change and add family members to the same appointment of whats the process?

Just not finding right steps to edit family appointment or not sure if even this is possible.
