Hi,
We have filed for H1B and H4 extention and requested the MI SOS to extend the drivers license temporarily. They did extend my husband's license temporarily filing SAVE case. However, in my case, the SAVE case is closed stating - "I-539 Pending", though we have submitted the I-797 copy of Notice for I-539 extention.
Can H4 person's DL be extended when the petition is pending?
Also, can I use my Indian Drivers License while my I-539 is being processed? MI state allows use of foreign licenses, however, my question is more about using it while I-539 is in processing status.
