Hi,
I have a valid H1 VISA till 2020 Aug. I got a new job opportunity and want to transfer my visa. However, my wife is currently studying on H4 VISA and we filed the status change to F1 last month.
If I transfer my visa now:
1. Should I cancel the status change process, transfer the H4 and reapply the status change? If yes, can I start the status change immediately on receipt notice?
2. Can I leave her H4 as is and transfer only H1? Will this trouble the status change process?
I know this is a lot, but I couldn't get immediate help from any attorneys as I don't find any appointments till next week.
