H1B Transfer is approved in Consular Process
Hi all, My H1B Transfer is approved in consular process, i have a valid I-94/Visa stamp on my passport for another month.
As per my employer i need to exit and re-enter US and that gets automatically updates new I-94. (no need to visit US consulate for interview)
Planning to visit Mexico. does anyone has experience travelling to Mexico airport and get the I-94 updated?
Also, i have been informed all this process (verifying approved petition and supporting docs, visa stamping etc)happens in Mexico airport before boarding the US flight, not in the US airport POE.
I am little confused on how this process happens in Mexico airport. Any first hand experiences would be much appreciated.
