Hello,
We are traveling to India on Dec 7th from US with out 20 month old daughter. We wanted to schedule our H1b/H4 visa appointment around 14th Dec 2018. But the earliest date available at Mumbai Consulate is 10th Jan 2019 and our return flight is on 11th Jan 2019. Previously whenever we had to go for visa stamping we chose Mumbai Consulate because our native town is in Gujarat. We have been living in US from 2006 and 2014 and have visited our native town every few years. We see Dec dates available in New Delhi consulate. Can we apply for appointment in New Delhi Consulate? In our DS 160 we have mentioned our preferred location to be Mumbai but at that time we didn't know the dates were not available. Do we need to resubmit a new DS 160 and pay the fees again if we apply at New Delhi Consulate?
