DS-160 for H4 - Question on Principal Applicant

DS160 for H4,what should the principal applicant be, H4 applicant for whom form is being filled OR H1B applicant. Pls clarify. If it is H1b applicant, then receipt number should be entered for H1B applicant in the H4 applicant's DS160? If so, is the information of H4 applicant's I-797 receipt # is not required to be entered any where? While taking visa appt there is section for principal applicant & class.What should be entered there. I landed in confusion while taking the visa appointment. Pls help.
