I was on F1 from 2012-2015 and was on opt from 2015-2016. My H1 was approved for 1 year from oct 2016-sept2017 and I got H1 visa stamping when I visited India in April 2017 and the expiry date on I-94 was Sept 2017. Applied for H1-transfer in June 2017 and it was denied on May 21 2018. I left the country on 28May 2018. I am now applying for F1-visa with admit to DBA program.
Did I accrue unlawful presence for those 7days after my H1-extension was denied? Do I have to mentiona it on DS-160?
And should I mention that my H1-extension was denied anywhere in DS-160?
What are the possible questions I would be asked in the F-1 visa interview?
Would the Visa officer have information about uscis case decisions or just about previous visa interview details?
Please help.
