Hi,
I will appreciate if someone could share his/her experience about undergoing H1B stamping, after his/her I-140 petition was denied by the USCIS. The non-immigrant visa application form (DS-160) has a question which requires explanation of any I-140 applications submitted by you (or anyone else on your behalf) to the USCIS. I am concerned that having a I-140 denial will impact my chances for obtaining the H1B visa stamp.
If in a similar situation, what was the outcome of your visa-stamp procedure? Please share.
Background: I filed an EB-1A petition which was denied. I came to the US on a J visa. I understand that H1B is a dual-intent visa.
