H1-B on Passport Expiring - pending India Trip

Hey guys,

I am planning a trip to India in Jan 2019 or Feb. However, the H1-B Visa stamp on my passport is expiring in 1st week of March 2019. Am I safe to make the trip?

Additionally, my actual H1-B visa expires in July (according to the I-797A) and not March (according to Passport), I am unsure why there is a discrepancy. Will this cause any problems during immigration when I return from the trip?

By “actual” H1-b visa I mean Petition
