    F1 to H4 change of status

    Hello,

    I have applied for change of status from F1 to H4 and EAD back in October 2018 and this is being processed at Vermont. As the current processing time at Vermont is around 12 months, is it OK to travel to India and get H4 visa instead? If i get H4 in India, do i have to withdraw my current I-539? And, what will happen to my EAD application?
