Hello,
I have an approved I-140. My H1B was valid till mid-2020, my spouse's H4 and EAD card and our I-94's were also valid till mid-2020.
With a recent amendment for location change, USCIS approved the amendment with a back date of Jan-2019. Employer asked me to stop working and is filing my extension under premium processing.
However, employer and attorney are saying this does not impact my spouse's H4 and EAD, both are still valid and she can work. Confusion is they are filing for both my H1 extension and H4 extension as a precautionary step but still saying her EAD is valid.
Can someone help if they have faced a similar situation?
