Hi,
Please advise on getting H1B stamping in India for my situation described below:
Valid H1B with Company A (old employer) : until Aug 2021.
H1B transfer applied by Company B (new employer): Feb 1st week of 2019. I started working for new employer last week (2nd week of Feb 2019)
Mode of H1B transfer: Regular (Since Premium processing not resumed for applications filed after Dec 21st 2018)
Situation: Emergency travel to India next week.
Questions:
1. Can I get attend visa interview to get stamping for my OLD employer since I have a valid approved H1B I-797 even though I have started working for NEW employer and all I have from new employer is the H1 receipt?
2. What should I present at port of entry?
