H1B Drop box and interview- Hyderabad 2019 Feb experience

I had a VISA stamped from my previous employer till July 2019 (VISA provided in Hyd in Feb 2017). I moved to another employer in November 2018 and got i-797A approved till Oct 2020.

I travelled to India on Feb 2 2019 and dropped my documents for interview Waiver on Feb 8. Got an email to attend interview@ consulate @Feb 20 10 AM on Feb 13. Attended interview on Feb 20 as indicated and VO told VISA is approved.

As of now, Passport is still with US embassy.
