Hello,
I am currently on an H1-B visa in the US. My term will come to an end on the 1st May 2019. (i.e i will complete my 6 years of duration on the 1st May 2019). Therefore, i will be staying here until 1st may 2019.
I wanted to understand , am I eligible for 2020 new H1 petition? The H1 petition will be granted only in Oct 2020, that covers my 1 year of cool-off.
However, since the application request is send out to USCIS only in April 2020 , does it make me eligible to apply for a new H1 at that point?
